Though grown in many areas of the nation, apple, peach, pear and cherry orchards thrive in the rich soils of Western Colorado. Irrigated with the snow fed clear mountain streams and a long warm growing season the fruit achieves a distinct flavor experience. The cool nights and warm days with plenty of sun shine make for growing conditions that enable our fruit to achieve the correct balance of sugars and crispness. Bound to please anyone with a taste for a great fruit eating experience.
Our orchards are located in Delta, Montrose and Mesa Counties of Colorado. Our season begins with Sweet Cherries in mid June, with Apricots, Peaches, Pears and Apples following in order.
Apples are Colorado’s largest fruit crop. Colorado’s high-quality apple production is centered on the states Western Slope. Major varieties include Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Jonathan, Jonagold, Gala, Fuji and Rome. Colorado Golden Delicious has the distinct pink/red blush that has set it apart from the rest of the industry.
Each summer and fall our customers throughout the U.S. anxiously await the harvest of our peaches, as well as our apples, cherries, pears and plums. Join the crowd and ask for our products at you local supermarket.
